There are a couple of chemical substances that are involved in contributing itchiness in the vagina including creams, douches, condoms, shaving creams, contraceptive foams, laundry detergents, soaps, scented toilet paper, and fabric softeners, etc.
Bacterial Vaginosis is another most common & similar to yeast infection cause for vaginal itching and is caused by an imbalance in healthy bacteria and a change in vaginal PH. In this case, the discharge is more watery and usually has a fishy-smelling odor.
