Toxic shock syndrome is a rare occurring bacterial infection but greatly lethal in its nature. It results from the toxins of bacteria named Staphylococcus aureus. Toxic shock syndrome can attack anyone including men, kids and postmenopausal women. It is manifested by following signs
sudden high-grade fever
Low blood pressure
Sunburn like rash on palms and soles
Redness of eyes, mouth and throat
It is treated with antibiotics with blood pressure maintaining drugs and rehydration fluids.
